Entrepreneur Engagement Sessions

Help make it easier to start and grow a company in Edmonton.

What are some of the biggest challenges you and your team face launching a tech company in Edmonton? What will make you more effective? What is slowing you down?

To ensure future improvements to Edmonton’s innovation ecosystem are effective and meet the needs of technology companies, Edmonton Economic Development Corporation, wants to hear directly from the community.

Starting with pilot engagement sessions in December, EEDC will develop a mechanism for ongoing feedback and engagement with the tech community.

Register for the engagement sessions by December 10, 2018.

The goal of these sessions is to identify gaps in supports and uncover the experiences of entrepreneurs.

The results and outputs will belong to the community. In addition, service providers can access the results to better tailor programs and services to you — the founders and senior leaders.

The December pilot sessions will help inform future engagement sessions. We are looking for feedback from team members of companies of all sizes and levels of success.

We will provide additional details around the specific questions and agenda for the sessions to everyone who registers.

The sessions will be held at the Edmonton Expo Centre (7515 118 Ave) or the Chamber of Commerce at the Edmonton World Trade Centre (9990 Jasper Ave) on the following dates:
